Alanis Fans?
Hey, Any Alanis fans here? Haha.. sorta an interesting question seeing as a bunch of us are from AM.info, but just wondering if any Tori fans were also Alanis fans. I 've bought her album 'Jagged Little Pill' but that was about it. I'm not really into her anymore. She just seems like she's trying to be pop-ish now. She changed her hair, her music is kinda different, so is her style now. Don't hate me though, I do respect her as an artist but she's just not doing it for me anymore. :( Actually, where has she been anyway? I don't even hear that much about her anymore. Last I knew, she was doing the 'Jagged Little Pill' unplugged. But that was only recognized for like a minute, then she disappeared again. I realize many Tori fans are into her as well, But I can't hear her shit anymore, she's just not the same Alanis. Sorry if I said too much :?

i'll have to agree with raspswirl on this subject. In the beginning (JLP) I thought Alanis was really cool and i listened to her music a lot. But lately... i've kind of lost her on my way... i thought it was kind of cheap to put out the same record again, but this time "unplugged". I do try to follow up on Alanis though, because I know what she can do! I also hope that she grows her hair back again, i totally LOVED her long long hair :)

Alot of people critisized her for putting out JLP again, but it was just kind of a tip-of-the hat. it seems kinda sell-out ish to the mainstream but in reality it was just a bonus treat for her fans. Shes changed alot though... the reason for her pop-ish happy style is because she's getting married. (She also worked with sheryl crow's producer, that didn't help). But if you liked JLP, you should try JLPA. I personally like it more than the first one... at least vocally.

I need to buy Jagged LIttle Pill again. I loved that album and used to have it on tape...played it so much that the tape finally wore out! I do have her Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie CD and I really enjoy that one as well. I don't know what she's done sense, but those two albums were great!
