Alex Sanchez. He writes good gay literature for highschoolers. The third and last book of his series "Rainbow Boys" comes out in October. hmmmm...I also liked the book "Roots." i don't know who wrote it though. Have you ever read "The Child CAlled It?" IT IS SOOOO SAD. It is about a kid who is abused by his mother. It is so dreadful. It was a great book, but you grow to hate his mother, and she denies anything happened. I highly recommend "The Child Called It." OK, that is all, Precious

I have read a Child Called It So sad. It's so hard to imagine that people can be so evil and heartless. Very sad, very scary.

You guys have good taste in books. My fave is John Irving, my fave books by him are "The Hotel New Hampshire" and "The Cider House Rules". The World According to Garp" by Irving is very Tori-esque so I recommend it. Its about a lot of things but its about women from a man's perspective and women finding their voice after crisis like rape... sound familier??

I adore Kate Atkinson and Annie Proulx, now there's some good female writers. Just finishing my Shipping News by Proulx, and gonna watch the movie (goes by the same title) tomorrow, since I have a day off from school 8)

books? never really took much notice of them however, anansi by neil gaiman has me intrigued reading an excerpt. i think i will break a habit of a lifetime and get me a book or 2. last book i read was short true or not so true short stories revovling around the paranormal everyday peoples occurences, sorry i forgot the title of that book, but one story i believe was the one the woman wanted to go shopping to buy grocerys , but couldnt find her car keys, she searched all day, high and low, come night time she spied a little mouse, btw(she caught it in a little box she had put food in i think)she picked it up to let it outside,as she walked well up the garden the little mouse jumped out of her hand she watched it a few seconds it moved maybe a foot or so to were her car keys had been, in the garden, funny but i believe that was one of the truer stories. apart from that book, embrassing to say the only one i rember was the adventures of huckleberry finn and tom sawyer what was years ago, i lost the zest of reading while at school though i rember partly books sons and lovers by dh.lawernce, also the great gatsby i think by fitzgerald. yeah the guiness book of records i always loved looking through that book. its time i done a record and got me a good book. this neil gaimon character seems interesting think i will start on anansi. who wrote the lion the witch and the wardrobe was that lewis? chronicles of narnia? heard of george orwell think he was the guy that lived in london homeless, to get an insight.
