OK this is the one I was talking about in the other thread that we had to do an assimilation {SP?} I chose my home girl Sylvia Plath I named it "I AM NOT YOU" bc I am not her and I could not think of how to begin like her so here goes I am not you Hungry for death, as you were My souls sister, Sylvia Plath I’ve listen to you read your poetry A million times Sweet elegant voice wit ha tiny tremor inside If I were there then, I would have hugged you In a dream the other night I called anne Whispering into the receiver of the oh the phone “we can save her this time anne I know we can” In that moment of silence, I began to realize I was dreaming You had left us all years ago I settle for “joe’s Bar Café” in Greenwhich Village And enjoy the time I have with you at night in my head there Comparing scars, smoking, sipping wine and sharing our poetry You told me a secret… “no matter how many stars you wish upon, Death, she isn’t coming for you, not anytime soon. So you, you keep that hive full of honny. Let no one suck you dry.”

I like it! I especially like the lines: "And enjoy the time I have with you at night in my head there, comparing scars, smooking, sipping wine and sharing our poetry." And I like your title. :)

I was like about to do that... but then I got confused. So yeah...
