IF YOU CAN'T ACCESS THE FORUM!!! Forumer's servers sometimes aren't the best, so if you're having trouble getting into the site, I've created an emergency Java chat room so that you can still get your tori fix if forumer is on the fritz!
Here's the link:

So, bookmark it or remember it because if something goes wrong you won't be able to get it here, lol.

Okay I have a button up on the main zu5.net page that should work within five minutes.
The www.tori.zu5.net page will still be up if forumer is down.

LMAO @ thinking of everything. Usually the Forumer servers are down for 15 minutes at most. I'm sure most of us will survive ;) Haha. Still cool though :)

I was having a damn heart attack!
I was thinking all my new members will continue their conversations at other forums!
God that would be horrible!

Maybe you can ask John what server he uses. I don't know anything about these things though, but you said you were planning on getting a domain name and such, so.. (or is my mind just cloudy?)

John uses Host Gator. Only problem. If we wish to transfer to a new server, we have to start from scratch. Forumer doesn't give you the files in the server's database in order to transfer it to another server. What we can do it attach on a domain name (if we buy one for $20 or however much), but it will still be hosted off of Forumer's servers.

Obviously. Not to mention buying a liscence for the forum software.

I'm really bad with PHP... I'd be willing to work with it if there were some sort of software that lets even the noobiest of noobs create php forums... so if anyone knows any?
Plus theres the hosting and domain to worry about... I am still planning on buying a domain but hosting drains the wallet ($6.95 a month!).
If something goes terribly wrong with forumer then I'll seriously consider using php.

phpBB is the newbiest of the newbs when it comes to forum software. Originally, when Forumer didn't offer phpBB as an option, all forums used Invision Power Board, and after a few days of experimenting, I figured out how it all works. IPB is much more complicated than phpBB. Then there's vBulletin, which is again not that simple. Of the 3 forum softwares I've tried, phpBB is definately the simplest.
