I'm Getting An Aquarium
Yay. I've always hated high maintenence pets mainly because I'm lazy. Those pets would include dogs and cats. I like them, but I don't like caring for them, lol. Well anyways, for my brother's birthday a few years ago, he got a tropical fish aquarium. As well, I got a few siamese fighting fish as a gift a few years ago, so I got sorta into the hobby. As my fish died about 2 years later, it never really occurred to be to get replacements. Recently, I've started to get back into the hobby and just bought 2 new siamese fighting fish a few weeks ago. My uncle "breeds" guppies in his spare time, so he has hundreds of really nice ones at his house. He said I could take some if I wanted, so I hit him up on the offer. I went to the pet store today, trying to find an affordable aquarium that fits into my budget (which is not a big one since school is starting up and I won't be working). Anyways, all of them were like $100+, including accessories and stuff, so I had no luck. Then I went online, searching through websites of some pet stores in my city, and I came upon a sale at a petstore across town, $50 for a complete 10 gallon aquairum starter set. It's perfect, fits in my budget perfectly, and since the fish will be free, that's all I have to worry about. So, hopefully in the next few days I'll nag my parents to give me a ride there (it's like a 35 minute drive away, sucks that it's across town from where I live) and buy it. w00t. Anyways, I'm excited right now.
