Is there such a thing as being overly obsessed with Tori? What do you think? Come on, be honest now  I was having this conversation with some friends and they said it's okay as long as you're into the music but when you start wanting to read every interview and article it's too much? I don't think so, but what do you guys think?

I Voted "yes"... i think someone can get too obsessed with Tori. I don't say it's a bad thing though! But it's a personal thing, for me going to every show on her tour would be 'too obsessed', but for some people out there (the regulars, or something) it is normal.
But yeah i definately think you can get TOOOOO obsessed with her, but that's not your own fault: it's all Tori's fault :D if only she didn't make beautiful music, looked fabulous and be so wise...

You know what, you're right. I guess I was thinking more along the lines of just keeping up with her (news and articles). But honestly, I went to the Chicago show at the end of August and some people are just so whacky!!

hihi sorry 'bout that... kind of missed the part about the articles and interviews...
But no, i love reading about her and looking for her in magazines and stuff. I always automatically check the covers to see if there's something about Tori in a magazine. I don't think that's being overly obsessed, is it?! Specially with Tori it's kind of nice to know what her thoughts are on her music and her songs. I enjoy reading her views on her songs, beacuse they sometimes are so different from my interpretations.
So my answer is NO! I don't think wanting to read every interview and article it's too much :D I think it is fun!
I better go and vote "NO" on your lovely poll then...

I think it is possible to be too obsessed about anything, even a good thing.

I've answered maybe because yes I like to hear and read what I can but I don't think its obsessive. I think the majority of fans are like me in that way.
Obsessive to me is when they become stalkerish and possibly dangerous.

No way. Some people are obssessed with silly things like men running around in knickers kicking a ball and hugging each other - then having a communal bath! Whereas we adore a red headed goddess who makes most other artists seem rather stupid and inferior to an inebriated squashed fly. This "obsession" of mine has been around since the earthquake and i dont think its going away! I love it all!

I think the level most EWF are at is sometimes considered "obsessive" by non-fans, but we aren't. Even though I know more about Tori's life than I do most historical figures, I'm not worried about that.
I agree though that it can go too far when you start having people stalking or who seriously would hurt/kill themselves if she stopped touring or making CDs or whatever. There's always someone who takes things a little too far.
But for the majority of fans, I think no!

I said maybe.
Reading all the articles you can and going to all the shows you can and pretty much having a Tori CD playing in you car just about at all times... I think is fine. But I think it would be a problem (as would most obsessions) if you no longer lived you life normolly because of it. I have been to all the shows that I could...but I've only been to 1. Sometimes you just can't afford that ticket! Read all the articles you want... Just don't miss work or forget to study for the exam in between! See what I mean...
Tori is the tyoe that if you really really enjoy her music and her style, its hard to stay away! Its not like she's J. Lo where you can get sick of her easily!!!!
:P Keep on enjoying!!!!!
