Ok, this isn't very good, since I suck at rhyming, but wanted to have some rhyme here anyway. So try to ignore it when it all falls apart. :) Thanks! Our Father, who art in Heaven Hollow be thy name Or so it would appear Since thy followers Hold not thy Love dear The grea-*test*-('") commandments We were told: Love God Not gold Love one another Just as we’ve been shown Judge not, lest ye be judged But they have replaced ye, Oh Highest Judge Thou art too lenient “Forgive,” you say “Condemn,” they demand They wear thy cross They proclaim thy name Yet the fires of hatred they inflame Ignoring the plight of their poor brothers Fighting those whose sin is to love another Think me not arrogant O Lord But tis Thee I pity Tis thy creation gone astray Who pervert Thy name And take Thy place But have hope For I have seen true believers They walk among us still And for them it is truly: Our Father, who art in heaven Hallowed be thy name.
