The Old Nine Inch Nails Debate
So here's the deal. Tori is my absolute favorite artist in the world. She's part of my Holy Trinity. (Trent Reznor is God, Tori is the Goddess, and Maynard in Jesus)...and as I recently saw Nine Inch Nails in concert, I've been thinking about the old songs of Tori's with NIN references in them...and I'm wondering if there are more. Little Earthquakes, Under the Pink and Boys for Pele either contain or are riddled with them, but I haven't noticed any references to Trent in Choirgirl or beyond (though I think that She's Your Cocaine might have a bit to do with it...especially the "You sign Prince of Darkness, try Squire of Dimness" part)...Does anyone know of any others, or has she kind of lost the desire to include them? I'm also wondering about the Neil Gaiman references. I didn't notice any of those on Choirgirl or The Beekeeper, but maybe I just wasn't paying enough attention.
