Trio of Poetry And now a few pieces of poetry. Please keep in mind that this is not my strong suit, so any comments are welcomed! Just be gentle.
The look in your eyes
The feeling of safety in your arms
The tenderness of your touch
The joy of just being near you.
These are things that I will miss
But most of all, I will miss You.
The light slowly fades from
the sky and darkness
Creeps over the land and
settles in for the night
But even in the dark of Night
the stars still shine
And we are not alone
Tiny streams trickle down the Mountain
and soon join the rivers.
The rivers rush through the lands
and into the arms of the ocean.
The waters of the ocean travel the world
and eventually drift onto shore.

vehnillamasochist post your own! I love reading other peoples'. Plus, I find it's easier to do it online then standing and watching someone read it.
I promise, I'll be nice. And I know SteelLilly will be too. :D

I love the references to nature.
You bring out the Native American in me.
It's a beautiful thing!
Joe, your poem was good too!

Thanks so much.
I always thought that if I could've lived in a different time, I either would've been a hippy or a Native American--before the europeans landed.
Nature just plays souch a big role in everything I write and I love being outside.
