Tuesday's Moon
"Tuesday Moon"
The world is dark tonight
All the Earth's a fright
If I choose
I just might
Turn this dark
Into light
All alone
On this Tuesday eve
No one's here
No one can leave
I'm as safe as I can be
But my heart is on my sleeve
I quench myself in black
Yet feed on this full moon
What I need will come soon
Which is the light of noon
The light to me
I will pull
And like the moon
We'll both be full
The more I allow darkness
The more I become wise
I let the sorrow rise
That's the way it dies
And I stop living in lies
There is no denial in my eyes
Only truth
And
The truth is the moon and I are one
When dark we die
When light we're alive
Our mission never done
We're immortal
Evolving and solving
One cycle at a time
I embrace the light
I dive into the dark
I do what's right
And then I start...to truly live
The lessons of life are hard to grasp
But with every moon I'm learning fast
So many up's and down's
So much dark and light
But in my soul I know it's alright
As I look at the moon
On this Tuesday night
