XM RADIO RECORDING AND BALTIMORE CONCERT ALL IN 1 DAY...
So I got to the radio interview at like 10:30 and they told us she was running late so anyone that needed to go to the bathroom should go now so i went since i knew i would have to sooner or later and then I went back to the lobby and I talked with some friends of Ms. Siegel( she is a tori fan) and they all were very very sweet and then about 15 mins after they made us sign waivers and gave us these passes that looked like backstage passes, then they took us upstairs where we hung out in the lobby upstairs as we waited. And like 5mins later we got the "shes here" and so we all were like YAY!!!! and were trying to see her but couldn't and I sat next to a girl who knew how to get the front row seats, so after a lecture they led us back to the studio which she had not been in yet and i ended up getting right up front on the end of the aisle. So then after another lecture she finally came in and walked down the aisle and I was feet from her and the piano and she was waving and smiling and gave me a big smile and a wave and then sat down and the guy started interviewing her and they talked about what she did for her birthday and how she has been managing and then they talked about. the story behind sleeps with butterflies and she went into the song which is beautiful live and they talked more, a bit about her relationship with tash and husband and did the first fan questions and answer and the guy asked about the story about tombigbee and she went into about how it went back to the trail of tears and Cherokee and then she went into cars and guitars which the first time she had to stop because she forgot to put on her headphones and then she started but the headphone sound was wrong so she had to restart again and that was also played very well and she gave a lot of stares with her eyes and one quickie at me and then they talked more about this and that and she talked about the new CD and how the warrior woman was coming out and then she started talking about sweet the sting and then played that after answering 3 more fan questions about motivation and how she takes care of herself and another one which i happen to forget, and then her and the interview dude talked more and then the last fan question came and he was requesting that she make a book of her songs in poetry form because to him he is an amazing poet and how she comes up with these songs and she was talking about how her Mom read her great poets every night and he mentioned ribbons undone and she was like for you and my Mom i am going to play it and then during the first verse she looked at me the whole time out of the corner of her eye and at the end she held her heart and pointed to the crowd and no one knew who she was pointing to really and then they talked about what some other artists meant to her and she was saying how Elton john is one of her fave piano mans and this and that and then she got up and was waving and saying bye and then she started to walk and looked right at my Mom and my Mom was not trying to get her attention but she walked right up to her and was like it is so amazing to meet you and my Mom was like this is my daughter and she took my hands and was like hi how are you and i was like good and started to tear and then she was like I must get going but i am so glad I shared this with both of you and me and my Mom just died and then left and got in the car and drove to the meet and greet. and then we waited maybe 1 hr for the meet and greet and i met up with Ms. Siegel and when she came out Ms.Siegel grabbed my hand and i grabbed my mom's hand and Ms. Siegel pulled us up and she was talking about how tori motivates her with her students and brought me in there and tori was like hi again! and I was like hi and then the Ms. Siegel and tori talked and then i brought up my poster I had made and tori was like what do we have here and she opened the poster and it was all her so she was like oh wow!! and she was like its all me!! and then asked where i wanted her to sign it and i showed her and then i was like well i know i am going to cry if i try and say any of this so then i handed her the letter and she was like i will get to it and then i was like can i get a pic of you and she was like of course hun! and then we took it and i talked with some people and then we went to this restaurant across from the venue and then we got back to the venue and waited to be let in until 6:30 and then we got in and bought the T-shirt and poster and the Like came on shortly and they were horrible, the songs sound alike, the girls are so trashy and they look younger then me and look like they are so mad they are there and then came out the ditty bops who are really energetic and were good and are into the crowd and then the lights came on since they prepare the stage for tori and we saw tori's parents so we were like oh cool! and we were talking to Ms. Siegel and her friend and she went up to the parents since she knows them and i met her dad and he was like hi! how are you and i was like excited! this is my first show and he was like well then I am sure you will have a great time and the Mom kinda walked off and so did the father since they were going to go wish tori good luck so then we sat back down and she came out and everyone stood up and cheered and she waved and started playing Os and crucify immediately with an improv on crucify about walking the streets and watching the fishermen bring back the fish on the pier and we figured out Peabody was right down the street and that was what she was referring to and then after crucify she started talking about how her mum and dad and nieces and friend and friends (she then pointed to the crowd) were all with her and I guess Tash screamed AND DAUGHTER from backstage because she then was like yes and daughter, thanks tash and waved back there which was cute and then she went into a sorta fairytale which was beautiful and caught a lite sneeze which was also amazing on the organ and bosey and then played Marianne with an improv about the shadow and trees and we later found out she played that because Marianne's Mom was there and then she played Jamaica inn which was so good live and cool on your island, then she did the covers which were okay, she did them good but i didn't really know the originals and then she sang cars and guitars which was better then in the morning and cooling which was also very well done and then winter and added ("When you gonna love you as much as I do, dad?"). since her dad was there and then she went into spring haze on the organ and bosey which was beautiful especially when she started the two pianos because she was like squatting over the piano bench and you could see she was trying to get up and she was playing hard and finally she got up and was dancing in a way as she played and then she did The Beekeeper which you could def. tell upset her as she played it but still did it wonderful and then she went into the encores with started with leather i ran up and Ms. Siegel pulled me up so i could see her and then she did leather after leaving and coming back on stage and was very energetic and did some gestures during the song and then played playboy mommy which was also done great and there was some emotional connection with it, you could tell and then she did sweet the sting which was not as good as in the morning but she was def. moving and playing both pianos and then she did 1000 oceans beautifully and hit all the notes and extended some words and then she waved once more and went off stage. I must say I got more then I expected. It was truely amazing Sorry for my horrible spelling and gramatics(i dunno if thats a word even) I was a bit rushed.
